Hi there songwriters!  The month is about half way done and I hope your songs are coming together.  If you need some inspiration, here are a few choice songs.

The Memphis Jug Band - On the Road Again  This is a classic jug band song and one of my favorites.  Don't mind the "N word" in it though.  It was written in the 20's by an all black group so it's okay, I guess.

Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas - Barbeque  Fitting for the game AND the time of the year!  Emmet Otter should stir up some great Jim Henson nostalgia.

Old Crow Medicine Show - Caroline  Not one of their jug band style songs but one of their best.

Subject: A Narwhal's Birthday

Genre: Jug Band / Bluegrass

What on earth is a Narwhal?  It's that beautiful banjo playing mammal to the left.  Here's some more information.
